13th European Forum on the rights of the child

Welcome to the online edition of the 13th European Forum on the rights of the child

Organised by the Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers, the European Forum on the rights of the child is an annual conference that provides a platform for dialogue between EU institutions and other stakeholders on the rights of the child.

This year, for the first time ever, the forum is going completely digital!

From 29/09 to 01/10, participants will enjoy an online, interactive event experience under the theme of this 13th edition: ‘Delivering for children: towards the European strategy on the rights of the child’. Highlights include a three-day conference featuring high-level sessions and interactive workshops as well as ice-breaking activities. Participants include children and young people, national authorities and policymakers, judicial and child protection practitioners, ombudspersons for children, independent experts, international and non-governmental organisations, academics, EU institutions and agencies.

We suggest that participants select and follow one workshop throughout the event as the discussions are planned as a continuum.

Please note: all sessions are in English; no interpretation will be provided for this event.

How to access the streams?

Access the session streams through the My Agenda page (you must be logged in to access this page). Once the button ‘join online session’ turns green, you can access the related live streams. Streams will only be available from 29 September.
